Construction Documents
Q-CAD gives designers the freedom to oursource their CAD construction drafting documents and redline markups using our CAD Construction Documents Service. These construction and architectural CAD drafting services will automatically coordinate your elevations, electrical, structural, plumbing, mechanical, sections, elevations and details.
To get started, designers must submit mock-ups, paste sheets, freehand or soft-line, design development or architectural design sketches and tenant build-out drawings that QCAD will re-draft as AutoCAD or Microstation construction/architecture CAD program files.
Designers can submit their redline markups. The free version of Adobe Reader will allow you to add markups to your PDF files and then submit them to us to have them updated.
Copies of architectural construction documents, including construction as-builts, building renovations, historical archives and facility remodels can be submitted as emails, along with a completed Q-CAD order form.
Construction Docs includes:
- AutoCAD (versions 14 – 2023) or MicroStation (v8i, CONNECT)
- These documents are redrafted as full scale of 1:1
- AIA layering by layer (American Institute of Architects). We also offer the option of LITE Layering Standards
- CONDOCS provide, dimension styles, text styles and fonts, titleblock, backgrounds (.dwg) and redline markups of Text Only
- Sheet mock-ups or sheet layouts
- Cut and paste sheets
- Freehand sketches, design development sketches, softline designs
